What Jason Knows . . .

June has been an incredible month for me personally and in the life of our church family. During my sabbatical, you’ve had the chance to hear from some of the best preachers in America. I hope you have enjoyed hearing the Word of God from these special men, and I know that God is doing amazing things through their inspired messages. But the fun doesn’t stop! We have three more Sundays with guest speakers that will continue to speak the truth and share how we can live hopeful and be helpful. I urge you. Do not miss these next three Sundays. You will regret it.

Here’s the schedule for July:

Sunday, July 5: Dr. Hershael York is a professor of Christian Preaching at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has authored two books and has been featured in Preaching Today magazine as one of the best preachers in North America. Dr. York is not just an academician, he is also the pastor of Buck Run Baptist Church, where he is leading that vibrant church to reach their city and touch the world with the Gospel.

Dr. York will share a message that will help us understand the freedom we have in Christ and how it is we can live with hope.

Sunday, July 12: Dr. Russell Moore is an evangelical theologian, ethicist, author, preacher, and president of the Southern Baptist Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission. Dr. Moore has been a blessing to Living Hope for years. He is regularly seen on CNN, Fox News, and in other news mediums standing on the foundation of God’s Word and speaking on behalf of the Southern Baptist Convention and all Christians who believe in the authority and inerrancy of the Bible.

Dr. Moore will help us understand this post-Christian world we now live in and how it is we can serve with hope.

Sunday, July 19: Dr. Albert Mohler is the president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is an author, preacher, and a Biblical cultural commentator. Dr. Mohler is a trusted name among leaders who believe in the Bible and stand for the Gospel. He regularly writes and speaks to the challenges that our new post-Christian world creates and offers insight and clear direction for the faithful of God. He is a blessing to millions of Christians around the world and the influence of his life will be felt for many generations.

Dr. Mohler will help us make sense of the difficulties of this world and explain how the Gospel gives us hope.

I will return to Living Hope on July 26, and I can not wait to share my experiences with you. I pray for my church family each and every day, and I am so thankful for your prayers during my sabbatical. Continue to pray for our guest speakers, Living Hope, and our country. Then be ready to get fired up when I return at the end of the month. I look forward to it!
