Jason’s Hope

My hope is that we will continue to make prayer a priority in our individual lives, with our family and friends, and in our church family. Prayer is the most powerful resource available to human beings. Wherever else can we gain access to the strength of the Maker and Sustainer of the universe? In the name of Jesus, we are able to access the throne of God and ask Him to work according to His will.

As you pray, seek God’s will for your life. You can never know how God is calling you and leading you until you pray. By praying specifically, we are able to understand what God desires to do. Without prayer, we are only guessing at what God wants to do. Without prayer, we are trusting in what we can do. Without prayer, we have very little power. Count on God to provide direction and provision for your life through prayer.

As you pray, ask God’s blessing on our centers and our local and global partners. You will find up to date information for how to pray on our Weekly Prayer Focus. It can be found online and through daily social media posts on Facebook and Twitter. God is bringing healing and hope to hurting people’s lives. This is happening daily in our Hope Center for Biblical Counseling, Recreation Center, and will soon be happening through the Hope Center for Pregnancy. In our city, nation, and world, God is making disciples through our partners and ministries. Please pray for these counselors, mentors, and missionaries and for those that go on mission to serve alongside of them.

Lastly, pray for our church family. Pray for me, as I seek to be a man worthy of the calling I have received. Pray for our elders, deacons, trustees, personnel team, and board members. Pray for our teachers, worship ministry participants, greeters, and all those that serve in the church. Pray that we will make disciples that make disciples. Pray that we will have a bond of peace through the power of the Spirit. Pray that we shine as light in this dark world.

God is with us. We are in this battle together. What an honor and joy it is to serve the Lord with you. We are truly a blessed family of faith. Let’s not grow weary in doing good. Let’s live in the hope of the restoration and be found faithful until He calls us home or comes again.
