My hope is…

We will see a great awakening in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and in Southcentral Kentucky! 

In 2019, we prayed for revival. God has been good to us and blessed us. Hundreds of people have reported to finding a greater hunger for God’s Word and a desire to serve Jesus more faithfully in the power of the Holy Spirit. We also saw a significant number of people within or directly connected to our church family who came to saving faith in Jesus Christ. God answered our prayer! 

Now, we are beginning to pray for an awaking. Every Sunday morning, you can find the prayer for awakening in the bulletin. Please pray this prayer every single day that week. Every Sunday night, we will provide that week’s prayer focus on our website, Facebook, and Twitter. Be sure you are following Living Hope on those social media platforms and begin praying for an awakening. 

An awakening is when a large number of people outside of and disconnected from the church come under deep conviction of the Holy Spirit and are saved. This conviction occurs as God’s people pray and share the Gospel with the lost people in their lives. At Living Hope, we use a tool called 3 Big Things to help people come to saving faith and become disciples of Jesus Christ. It is a conversation guide. It is based on The Story and 3 Circles. On Sunday Night, Jan 5 from 5:30-6:30p, I am going to give a crash course on 3 Big Things. It will not give you everything you need to know about making a disciple, but it will give you the basics. Please plan to be here! 

Our theme for 2020 is: 2020 VISION! COME SEE WHAT GOD CAN DO! We will look at various scriptures in the Old and New Testament. The goal is to help us see what God can do to impact our homes, our neighbors, and every generation with the hope of Jesus. Jesus commands us to make disciples. The Bible shows us why this is needed and how to do it. Come prepared every Sunday morning as we gather to worship, pray, praise God in song, and respond to the preaching of God’s Word to become a disciple who makes disciples.
